As we come together to celebrate Independence Day here in the U.S., we
are reminded of lots of things that make us want to be independent from others. However, check out some of the stories Jesus uses to illustrate the need for dependence on God. Maybe we'll all think a little harder on what we can do to rely less on ourselves and more on God...

Part 2 - Acting Different

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different
results..." "If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've
always got..." Sound familiar? Well, surprisingly enough, it's all
true! We can't expect anything in our lives to change if we don't. In the same way, we can't expect our faith lives to change if we don't make that change. We must act to change our thinking. But sometimes acting is the hardest part.
