Landis' Mission Trip to Kenya - Text and photos
September 2006
I would like to
thank you, my church family, for your prayers during my
recent mission trip to Kenya. It was both a joyful and a
difficult trip and I could feel your prayer support daily.
For those of you who don’t know, I was
blessed to be able to travel with ten others, through MOST
Ministries, to Kenya for two weeks in September. While
there, we worked with the Evangelical Church of Kenya on
their AIDS education program. As you probably know, AIDS is
epidemic in Africa and the people living with HIV and AIDS
are often ostracized. The ELCK is working very hard to
change that and I was honored to be able to help with that
effort. Go to story.

Mississippi
Mission Trip
October 2006
The Mission Team wishes first to thank
all our brothers and sisters here at King of Kings for their prayers and
good wishes as we went about God's business down in Mississippi. Three
of our faithful servants arrived by airway on Monday afternoon October
2nd. Seven of us drove in three vehicles bringing tools and supplies to
the work site arriving also on the 2nd. Some of us took a tour on Monday
afternoon to see two of the three sites we were going to be working. Our
hearts went out to the home owners as we took in the devastation still
in existence after thirteen months.
